Outfit of the day. Makeup and Hair.

So it's finally okay to go out in this snow hell NY has experienced. Finally the roads are a little clear and the weather is a lil sunnier. I decided to go shopping with my boyfriend and brother. We will be hittin' up some vintage shops aka thrift shops in Williamsburg. And my favorite chill spot. I wanted to post this up real quick while I wait for my brother to get here to scoop us up.

My outfit for today:

 

Sorry macbook quality pics. Well I'm wearing a Forever21 leopard tank top with a checkered American Eagle button down on top. Also some regular black leggings and a pair of black Bucco regular boots. The link is actually the same exact pair I have. They are thigh high but they unzip right under the knee. I love these boots. My mom got them for me.

For hair and makeup:

My hair is usually straightened but I havent straightened it because I didn't have time. All I did was wash it and let it naturally dry. I used my Treseme FreshStart no frizz-creme. This thing smells amazing. Like no other hair cream.

 

For makeup I did a simple foundation with my Mac Studio Fix. I'm a NW20 in that. For a cheaper alternate go to foundation I would use the Maybelline NY Super Stay Makeup Foundation in Classic Ivory. Whenever you use a liquid foundation you have to settle it with a powder. Whether it be a translucent powder a pressed powder or a loose powder. I use the Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural pressed powder. A cheaper alternate is the Loreal True Match cool powder- also pressed. For blush I bought a set palette from Sephora from TooFaced and used the blush that comes in the palette. It's basically a pinky pink. 

For eyes I used a sparkly beige gold from the Maybelline NY Eyestudio quad. The quad is called Give Me Gold. I first applied the Urban Decay Primer Potion. Then I used the lightest gold all over the lid. The darkest brown for the crease. And again the lightest gold for the highlight under the brow. I also used the Maybelline Line Stiletto liquid black eyeliner. For mascara I used my tweezerman lash curler and Loreal Paris Double Extend mascara. To darken my eyebrows I used the ELF brow fixer. 

 

Oh and for nails I used Sinful Colors nail polish in cream pink. I love pink!

Bryant Park, Rockerfeller Center and more NYC.

I recently took a little trip with my girl Monike. We went to check out the Christmas trees at Bryant park and Rockerfeller Center. I just felt like taking some pics and shes always down for whatever. That's probably the only type of people I fucks (excuse my French) with.

We started at Chipotle eating some fresh ass tacos. They were so good and we were so hungry that I didn't even take pics of them. I'm dying for some Chipotle right now as I'm thinking of it.

Then we made our way over to the little shops at Bryant Park which are nice to look at but I probably wouldn't buy anything there. Most things there are handmade and overpriced. For example, a homemade candle with seashells in it: $50! Target sells perfectly fine candles for $4.99. I could decorate my entire house for $50.

Then we were itching for something sweet so we hit up Crumbs cupcake for a Red Velvet orgasm. Yum was I craving that Red Velvet cupcake.

 

After demolishing that poor Red Velvet, we went into the little dome shaped store that KateSpade had at the end of the park.

FYI: the lighting in the store was PINK and DIMMED so our faces look pink in the pics.

 

I fell in love with this Kate Spade cosmetic case. Only $85!! I think the case costs more then the makeup I'd put in it.

If they had it in pink I probably would have bought it. 

Moving on...

We trooped it to Rockerfeller center. It got so cold out that we had to stop at Barnes & Noble to warm up. I never pass up a Barnes & Noble adventure. 

 

 

We finally made it to Rockerfeller. It started snowing but it was beautiful. I enjoyed a NYC dirty water hotdog. Those suckers went up to $4.50! Monike had a shishkabob. We admired the colorful tree as we munched on our meals.

We topped the night off by enjoying some TGIFriday's and getting my drink on with some electric blue vodka lemonade. Yum. I don't normally eat so much in one day but walking around NYC from 3pm-10pm makes me hungry. Also if anyone knows Monike, this girl can eat. Just another one of the many things I love about her.

So....

I've been missing, I know. No need to rub it in my face. Well I haven't really done much that's the reason I haven't updated. Yes, I haven't been inspired but the reason for that is this damn cold! I need to move into a tropical area where I can feel the sun beaming on me every morning. My doggies don't even wanna go to the backyard to do their business in this snow!

So as I'm snowed in and also off from work until Thursday, I am working on my stuff.

I deleted facebook for literally 2 days. I wanted to just disappear for a while but it wasn't fun without facebook. I couldn't take it lol. Every second I wanted to check my facebook app on my iPhone just to realize there was no more facebook app. :( So I had to put it back. I also deleted this blog but blogger lets you bring all your stuff back within 90 days if you change your mind, like me. So the blog is back up. I also deleted my tumblr. However, tumblr doesnt give you the option to bring it back. So all my pics, my post, my quotes, my videos, etc from tumblr are all gone. It's fine though because I'd like to start fresh anyway. So a new tumblr is in the making guys.

Also, have you noticed a new background? Yep, also new. I feel refreshed and the New Year hasn't even passed yet. Well I am ahead of my schedule. I love the clash of the turquoise and lavender. Some colors just go together.

So anyway, I will be updating my tumblr and twitter more then anything probably but once January 8th hits I will have lots of new things happening. Which means blog posts everyday! So stick around for that!

Creeping My Way Back In:

Like I've been saying, I have not been inspired for anything lately!

Well today I have off from work and I'm going to put a stop to this. I gave my accomplice Monike a phone call and we're gonna go inspire me.

We will be going to the city to take some pics that will finally inspire me. Maybe get some coffe and talk some crap. 

I will be back tonight with pics and new inspiration for more work to come.

More on what I'm looking for.

For my last post I mentioned I'm looking for an assistant. This sounds as if I'm looking for someone to do my dirty work. Well basically I'm just looking for someone ambitious, motivated, and looking to do something different.

I will teach you photoshop and anything I know regarding photography. Seriously, if your bored with yourself and just wanna try something new or even if you're not bored with yourself but wanna try something new just message me and we can link up and create magic.

Ahh. Such a accomplished feeling in me right now. I am doing big things and they'll only get bigger. 

I am also looking for an assistant to help me with photoshop and just to help while doing photoshoots. I have a few candidates but I just wanna see what's out there.
